Mark your calendars – Moreton Bay PrideFest is back for another fabulous celebration of diversity, inclusion and community spirit.

The event returns to Pine Rivers Park in Strathpine on Saturday, 18 April.

Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery said that while this year’s festival will have the same lively and joyful atmosphere as past events, there is one major change for this month’s celebration – it’s free!

“Since launching in 2023, PrideFest has grown into one of our city’s most vibrant celebrations,” he said. “We’re proud to make PrideFest a free event, giving even more locals the opportunity to enjoy the entertainment and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our community.”

A Free Celebration of Inclusion and Community

Food vendors, market stalls, interactive community spaces, and live entertainment – including iconic drag performances, will help create a welcoming, positive space for attendees to feel celebrated, supported and connected.

“Events like PrideFest offer locals memorable experiences close to home, making it easy for friends, neighbours, and members of the community to come together and enjoy a great day out without breaking the bank,” Mayor Flannery said.

“PrideFest sends a clear message that Moreton Bay is a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone can feel safe, valued and proud to be themselves.”
