If you’re looking for a Halloween experience that will really get you into the spooky spirit, Cursed on Conway is one to put on your list. This impressive Halloween display takes over a home in Conway Court, North Lakes, transforming it into a creepy walkthrough experience for Halloween.
The family-friendly event is free to attend and features creepy characters, chilling scenes, spooky surprises and plenty of Halloween atmosphere. The organisers have already started construction for 2026, promising what could be their biggest and creepiest walkthrough yet!
There are several opportunities to visit, including a special Trick or Treat Night on Halloween itself.

2. Halloween Party, North Lakes Library
Head to North Lakes Library on Halloween morning for some spooky family fun. City of Moreton Bay Libraries are getting into the Halloween spirit, with families invited to dress up and drop in for some Halloween-themed fun.
You might find a scary Storytime session, ghostly rhymes and other spooky surprises. It’s a great option for younger children who want to celebrate Halloween without waiting until the evening.
The event is free and suitable for families, with no bookings required.

3. Spooky Family Night, Mango Hill Tavern
Get the whole family dressed up and head to Mango Hill Tavern for a Spooky Family Night filled with Halloween activities, games and treats.
The evening includes a Witch’s Potion Lab where children can mix up their own spooky creations, face painting, a Best Dressed Competition and a Guess the Candy Jar challenge. There’s also a Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt running from 5pm to 9pm, with clues leading families around the venue in search of hidden treats.

4. Halloween Night Spooktacular, Old Petrie Town
Dress up and head to Old Petrie Town for a Halloween Night Spooktacular suitable for all ages. The event promises a fun family night out with a spooky twist, making it a great choice if you want to combine Halloween celebrations with the atmosphere of one of the area’s much-loved local destinations.
There’ll be live music, food, market stalls, family fun and plenty of spooky entertainment. It’s a chance to get everyone into costume, enjoy something to eat and make some Halloween memories together.

5. Ghoulies & Ghosties Come Out To Play, Caboolture Historical Village
The Village is getting into the Halloween spirit with its annual Halloween event on Saturday, 31 October. This year’s theme is ‘Halloween, when the Ghoulies and Ghosties come out to play’, promising a classic, whimsical and spooky gathering for the family.
The event is inspired by the famous Scottish folklore rhyme about “ghoulies and ghosties” and “things that go bump in the night”, making it a fun theme for anyone who enjoys a traditional Halloween atmosphere.
Gates open at 5pm and the event runs until 9pm. The first hour will be scare-free, making it a good option for younger children or anyone who enjoys Halloween but isn’t quite ready for the really spooky stuff.

6. Halloween Kids Disco, Deception Bay Dragons Football Club
Little monsters, witches, ghosts and ghouls can get dressed up and dance the night away at the Deception Bay Dragons Halloween Kids Disco.
The event promises music, dancing, games and plenty of Halloween fun, with a spooky-themed menu also available. Families are asked to pre-order food when booking to help make sure everyone’s favourite spooky treats are available on the night.
Places are limited, so families are encouraged to book early. When booking, you’ll need to provide the booking name, number of adults and the names and ages of children attending so the organisers can cater for them during the games and activities.
It’s important to note that this is not a drop-off event. All children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 18 or over for the entire event.

7. Rocky Horror Halloween Edition, Club Pine Rivers
For the grown ups looking for a Halloween night out, Club Pine Rivers is hosting a Rocky Horror Halloween Edition on Saturday, 31 October.
