Dog lovers rejoice! Pooches in the Park will return to Kallangur’s Penson Park for its third year.
Some might say it’s the ‘pawfect’ way to treat your beloved pet, as the free event on 6 July will be filled with dog-friendly market stalls, makeover stations (your furry friend can have their claws painted), a dog show – and there’s even dog ice cream!
City of Moreton Bay Councillor Yvonne Barlow, who is hosting this year’s event along with MBRIT (Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism), said Pooches in the Park was a great way for pet-based businesses and dog owners to come together.
A Barking Good Day Out for the Whole Family
“We love our dogs in Moreton Bay and what better way to celebrate with them than by taking them to an event the whole family can attend?” she said.
“There’s grooming, demonstrations, live music and everything you can think of.
“I can’t believe how well-behaved the dogs have been at previous events! I don’t think I’ve even heard as much of a bark!
“It’s a wonderful day out!”
City of Moreton Bay is encouraging people to walk to the event if they can, as there will be limited onsite parking and street parking available.
