The end of 2025 was highlighted by the Christmas dinner meeting and the ladies’ Conga dancing – a great night of festivities.
The Brendale Evening VIEW Club is now focused on making 2026 a year of women’s networking, community impact, and educational support for The Smith Family Learning for Life program. Brendale VIEW sponsors nine Aussie children through this program.
The new year started with the AGM. A new 2026 committee was formed, and the committee of 2025 stepped down. A big thank you to those members for another very successful year.
2026 Meetings, Events and How to Get Involved
If you intend to make 2026 a year to cultivate new friendships and make a change to a child’s life, then mark your calendar for the Brendale Evening VIEW Club dinner meeting on 17 February. It will be the 27th anniversary of the club and the guest speaker is Ann Downey from Akemi Ikebana (The Art of Flower Arranging).
Monthly dinner meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month (6.30pm for a 7pm start) at Aspley Hornets, 50 Graham Road, Carseldine. Bookings are required.
On the first Saturday of the month, Brendale VIEW Club hosts a ‘Coffee and Chat’, starting at 10am. These mornings are a great opportunity to get to know other members. This month’s event will be at Aspley Hornets.
V.I.E.W (Voice, Interests & Education of Women) is a national women’s volunteer organisation, supporting the education of disadvantaged children through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program.
To make a booking, contact Suzanne on 0417 022 996.
