Sips and Sounds returns to Moreton Bay this month, bringing a vibrant blend of music, food, and family fun to Dragonfly Park in Warner.
Now in its third year, the City of Moreton Bay event has become a much-loved addition to the local events calendar.
Mayor Peter Flannery said Sips and Sounds was a free and exciting new event for the Warner community.
“After successfully bringing Sips and Sounds to Griffin and Mango Hill, we can’t wait to expand it into more areas of our City,” he said. “Building on the much-loved Jazz and Shiraz series, Sips and Sounds promises to bring the same vibrant atmosphere to Warner.
“We’re anticipating a fantastic turnout from the Warner community and surrounding suburbs. With a free, family-friendly atmosphere and great live music, we’re expecting plenty of locals to come along and enjoy an afternoon in the park.”
On Sunday, 8 February, music lovers can expect a lineup showcasing some of the region’s best local acts, suitable for all ages.
- 2pm – Kiani Jazz
- 3pm – Ander Harlem
- 4pm – Amy Kate
- 5pm – Making Moves

Live Music Lineup and Event Highlights
Kiani Jazz said she was thrilled to be a part of Sips and Sounds.
“I’ve been working on new songs and refining my sound for upcoming performances, and I’m excited to share some of this new material,” Kiani said.
“This will be my first time attending the Sips and Sounds event, and I’m looking forward to experiencing everything it has to offer.
“You can expect a set filled with groovy tunes performed with vocals, guitar, vocal pedals, and a stomp box. My performance will feature a blend of genres ranging from reggae to classic rock, and possibly even a few original songs. Can’t wait to catch you there!”
Attendees can unwind on the grass with a drink in hand, thanks to the onsite pop-up licensed bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, while a variety of food trucks will dish up tasty bites throughout the afternoon.
Families are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and enjoy the easygoing park atmosphere. Dogs on leads are welcome.
