A ‘Mum & Me’ paint workshop is being held in Warner ahead of Mother’s Day, offering a creative option for those looking to mark the occasion.
Hosted by Peaceful Palette, the two-hour guided session will take place on Sunday, 3 May, at Warner Tavern, where participants will be led step-by-step through a chosen artwork, with the option to personalise their pieces.
Organiser Nita Thomas said the workshop was open to all ages and skill levels, “and absolutely no prior painting experience is needed.”
“Whether attending solo or as part of a group, everyone is welcome,” Nita said.
“We like to say we specialise in ‘fun art, not fine art’. It’s not about perfection, it’s about ‘me time’, allowing yourself to have time to relax, unwind and create. It’s about fun, switching off, and giving yourself permission to be creative.”
What to Expect at the Workshop
All painting materials, including canvas, paints, brushes and aprons, will be supplied. Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price, but will be available to purchase from the venue.
“We provide an apron, but we suggest you wear something in mind that paint may get on your clothes as you get carried away in your creation,” Nita said.
Attendees are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.
Tickets start from $40 (as a double, e.g. $80 each). Get your tickets here.
