The Brendale Evening VIEW Club is preparing for a festive night of fun, food, and friendship this month.
The Christmas Evening Dinner will be held on 18 November at the Bracken Ridge Tavern.
Guests will enjoy entertainment from the Ferny Groovers and a Christmas dinner, with members dressed in their favourite festive hats and t-shirts. The night will also feature raffles and a lucky door prize.
Supporting Education Through Friendship and Community
The Brendale VIEW Club meets every third Tuesday evening, offering women a chance to build friendships while supporting a good cause. VIEW, which stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women, has been supporting The Smith Family for 65 years.
Brendale VIEW currently sponsors nine children through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life education program, which provides long-term educational, financial, and personal support.
The club’s president said, “With one in six children in Australia growing up in poverty, there has never been a more important time to support a child’s education.”
Those unable to make the Christmas dinner are invited to join the monthly Coffee and Chat on the first Saturday of each month at 10am at White’s Coffee Co, Bracken Ridge Tavern.
