Classic rock fans will be rollin’ on the river of nostalgia as Creedence – The John Fogerty Show brings the swamp-rock sound of Creedence Clearwater Revival back to town this month.

The leading Australian tribute act will return to Norths Leagues and Services Club in Kallangur on Saturday, 6 December, for another night packed with timeless hits.

Co-founder of Gateway Entertainment, lead guitarist, and former Kallangur resident Nathan Ward said the concept behind the show came from a desire to create something that transcends musical genres and connects with a wide audience.

“Creedence does just that – it’s great, uplifting music that makes everyone happy and everyone knows every single song we play,” Nathan said.

“This show is good, old-fashioned fun. It features state-of-the-art sound, lighting and visuals.”

Band Line-up, Setlist & Show Details

Formed in 2014, Creedence – The John Fogerty Show, fronted by Andre Lemberg and backed by swamp rockers Blood Rule, aims to capture the authentic sound and spirit of CCR and John Fogerty.

“Angry Anderson is quoted as saying he thinks Andre is the best vocalist he’s heard in over 15 years,” Nathan said.

Joining Nathan and Andre on stage will be Ryan Kerr on bass and Jotham Garrott on drums – both musicians with degrees in contemporary music.

The setlist promises classics such as Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Green River, Suzie Q, Born on the Bayou, and more.

“I personally love Green River or John’s solo song Old Man Down the Road,” Nathan said. “They both capture the ultimate sound of what Creedence and John Fogerty are all about. Everyone smiles when we start those riffs in both songs.”

With this performance marking the final show of the year, Nathan hinted that the band had a few surprises in store for the Norths Leagues crowd.

“We give every show our all,” he said. “I’m originally an old Kallangur kid and went to school at Dakabin and Petrie.

“This particular show this year is our last from a long 2025 tour across Australia, so I’m sure people will be left feeling 100 percent happy and satisfied.

“This show has sold out every time we have played this beautiful venue. Come and treat yourself and your friends and family to some good old positive music.”
