‘Twas the night before Christmas, and at City of Moreton Bay Libraries, a special Christmas Eve Storytime was stirring…

Designed for little ones aged two to five, a storytime session held on 24 December at local libraries, including North Lakes Library and Deception Bay Library, invites families to enjoy a morning filled with classic Christmas tales, festive songs and a sprinkle of yuletide magic.

City of Moreton Bay Mayor, Peter Flannery, said he welcomed families to the region’s libraries this Christmas.

“Storytime at City of Moreton Bay Libraries continues to be a popular activity for families throughout the year and is an excellent opportunity for children to develop a love of reading,” Mayor Flannery said.

“With the festive season now upon us, why not gather the family for one of our special storytime sessions filled with classic Christmas tales and songs that are sure to bring some holiday cheer?”
