As temperatures rise, Moreton Bay’s public pools are set to welcome residents for another bumper summer season.
With a record 1.578 million visits in the last financial year – a 11.28% increase in just two years – locals are embracing the opportunity to cool off, stay active and enjoy quality family time in our public pools.
City of Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery said these facilities were rapidly growing in popularity, with patronage increasing by more than 160,000 in the past two years alone.
“Our pool and leisure centres are accessible, affordable and offer something for everyone to enjoy with heated pools, Olympic-sized lap lanes, water slides, shallow play areas for toddlers, aqua aerobics classes and learn-to-swim sessions,” he said.
Whether you’re interested in lap swimming, child-friendly splash pads or a fun, family day out, Moreton Bay has a nearby pool perfect for you.
