There’ll be no shortage of ways to ring in 2026 around North Lakes, with live music, parties and family-friendly events planned across local venues.

Norths Leagues and Services Club will feature The Elton/Joel Show, with Steven Michaels performing the hits of Elton John and Billy Joel. Guests can also enjoy a three-course dinner as part of the evening.

Norths Leagues Marketing Manager James Bennett said the team wanted to create something truly special for this year’s celebration.

“New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest nights of the year, and we wanted to make it truly unforgettable,” James said. The Elton / Joel Show is a spectacular celebration of two of the greatest piano men of all time, paired with a stunning three-course dinner – the perfect way to welcome 2026 in style.”

Doors open 7.30pm. Tickets start at $100 for members. You can get your tickets here.

Also at Norths Leagues in the Spirit Bar, covers band 7DayWeekends will return for another New Year’s Eve performance, playing from 8.30pm.

Families looking for an earlier celebration can head to Mango Hill Tavern for its Mini Glow New Year’s Eve Party. The event includes glow face painting, a lolly buffet, and a kids’ countdown at 9pm. Book your places here.

More Local Venues Ring in 2026

The Kallangur Tavern is hosting ‘The Return of The Bungalow’, promising a night of nostalgia with a DJ, dance floor and midnight countdown.

Publican Joseph Kollas said The Bungalow was an icon of Kallangur’s nightlife back in the day.

“Everyone’s got a story from a night out there,” Joseph said. “We wanted to bring that energy back for one night only this New Year’s Eve.

“These days, most people around here head into the Valley or the one or two other venues nearby for a big night out – but we wanted to give locals something special right here at home. It’s great to be able to throw a proper New Year’s Eve party without the city prices, long lines, or expensive entry fees… and yes, we’ve even got a confetti cannon ready to go – because why should the Valley have all the fun?”

Event details can be found on the Kallangur Tavern Facebook page.

Over at North Lakes Sports Club, The Polaroids will perform a mix of R&B, soul, rock and pop, with DJ Damien between sets. The free event runs from 8pm to 1am. Lear more here.

Diamonds Tavern Kallangur is going “full cowboy” with a Wild West event. The night includes dancing, karaoke from 8.30pm, and prizes for best dressed. Get more information here
