Jimmy Barnes – Cold Chisel and Bon Scott – AC/DC are names synonymous with rock music in Australia. What better way to celebrate their legendary status than with a tribute show – Australia’s Favourite Sons?
The two-hour stage spectacular at Club Pine Rivers will capture the sounds and excitement of Australia’s greatest rock frontmen. The show will feature all the timeless rock and roll classics that defined these two men (and the bands they were a prominent part of) with the first half of the show dedicated to Jimmy Barnes.
Generations of Aussies will be more than familiar with the powerful voice of Jimmy Barnes who burst onto the music scene in 1973 with the then little-known Adelaide band, Cold Chisel. To date, Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes (solo) have churned out 30 powerful albums, making them platinum household names.

You’ll be singing along and belting out classics including Khe Sanh, Cheap Wine, Flame Trees, Standing on the Outside, Rising Sun, Working Class Man and No Second Prize. And no doubt, you’re already singing the lyrics in your head!
But the rock level goes up another notch with a nod to Bon Scott and AC/DC. From 1975 to 1979, AC/DC released seven multi-platinum albums each receiving international acclaim and launching the band members as global superstars.
Raspy and high-pitched Bon Scott was known to be the life of the party. And boy could he sing! Join in on the classics including Highway to Hell, Dirty Deeds, High Voltage and of course TNT. But along with the hit songs, you’ll get to see a set full of energy (if you’re an AC/DC fan you’ll know!) complete with the frenetic stage antics of everyone’s favourite guitar-wielding schoolboy, Angus.
Australia’s Favourite Sons is much more than a concert; it’s the ultimate rock experience. The cast of multi-talented and internationally respected musicians bring to life a stage show unlike any other.
