Support the circular economy and bag yourself a bargain by visiting the thrift shops in North Lakes and the surrounding suburbs.

We’re lucky to have lots of op shops in the region. It is a great way to save money, direct funds towards good causes and reuse things to save them from landfill. And the best part is you never know what you might find!

Here are a few thrift stores worth visiting:

Lifeline Shop North Lakes

Jamie Mackay, General Manager, Lifeline Queensland said this store could keep you entertained for hours.

“This is one of our largest shops within the state,” Jamie said. “One of the best aspects of thrift shopping is the element of surprise – you never know what quality goods you’ll discover, and our shop showcases just that.

“We’ve got a vast array of retro and vintage items and bookshelves overflowing with books. As you explore the shop, you’ll find a wide range of memorabilia, bric-a-brac and an extensive selection of clothes and accessories.

“We appreciate the incredible support we’ve received from the local community because every donation accepted during trading hours and purchased at any of our Lifeline shops makes sure our Lifeline Crisis support services are there for anyone who needs them – free, 24/7.”
