Colour Frenzy is set to bring a burst of colour to Eden Park, all in the name of helping animals in need.

Held on Sunday, 21 September, the event invites participants to walk, jog, or dance their way through a kaleidoscope of colour, with a series of stations designed to leave everyone smothered in colour.

Colour Frenzy Director Sarah Morrison said that while the event was full of fun, it was rooted in something deeper.

“At the heart of Colour Frenzy is our love for dogs,” Sarah said. “We have proudly partnered with SHAMROQ (Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Queensland Inc), a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming northern breed dogs including Huskies, Malamutes, Samoyeds, Akitas and Shiba Inus.”

The event features a 1.65km looped track with five colour stations and a bubble-filled foam zone for participants and their dogs to enjoy together.

Sarah said that the event gives participants the chance to give back.

“For this event, our goal is to raise over $5000 to help SHAMROQ continue their invaluable work, something very close to our Colour Frenzy team,” Sarah said.

“Attendees are encouraged to bring pet food or supplies to donate directly to SHAMROQ on event day, and as a thank-you, donors will receive a free colour pack.”
