Wonder Wagon as Identity Cafe and Threads of Connection | North Lakes

May 17 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Wonder Wagon at North Lakes Library

During the Anywhere Festival, The Wonder Wagon will offer two hands-on creative experiences.

On one side, you can visit The Identity Cafe – a place where you transform the ordinary into the extraordinary! We invite you and your friends to choose and try on a stunning full-face mask. Every mask is full of potential stories. And, when you put a mask on, you will uncover an entirely new character hidden within you. What character will you become? What is your secret backstory? On the other side of the Wonder Wagon you will find the work of local artist Shan Michaels. Shan has created a colourful textile sculpture called Threads of Connection. Everyone is invited to take part in Threads of Connection. Created by Shan Michaels.
